The answer is surprising to some. It has become a worldwide epidemic that impacts 350 to 500 million people each year. It kills about 1,000,000 people annually worldwide, 90 percent of those deaths are children in Africa. What is outrageous is that it is preventable! The answer is C. Malaria!
