We are feeling better and miss our friends in Peru

Olivia and Maddie are having breakfast. We are home and feeling much better. Keary was very sick for several days but is now feeling great. Olivia and Maddie had a special time with their new friends Noelle and Sarah. Most of their Pet Shop animal friends traveled with us to Cusco and back. They also wanted to say hello and say they missed you.

A Great Visit

We have been sponsoring Jorge through Compassion International for the past 3 years. He came to our hotel this morning with his mother and together we toured historic downtown Lima. He enjoyed his first meal at Kentucky Fried Chicken for lunch with us! It was a special day together!

John 1

at least we think so......In Quechua! We were able to attend a Quechua service last week. WOW, that was certainly a first! The language is very phonetic and is read just like English. We just don't know what is means, but at least we can sing correctly!

Babies have arrived

Sunday seven babies arrived! Mama Cerdo delivered healthy piglets. We have enjoyed watching them play in the barnyard. Grandma Cerdo is expecting any day now so we will soon have more! OINK!

Meet Valerie

YEAH!! Meet Valerie! Yesterday we left our village of Pallpanccay to pick out the COW. Isn't she beautiful? She will reside at the home of the Powlison's in a few weeks after a shed is built for her. She is young but will be a great milk producer! We are so excited to be able to facilitate this gift for the orphans from the children at Covenant Presbyterian Church!
